About The Position

Seeking a Manufacturing Technician/Quality Inspector for day-to-day inspection of raw materials and assemblies as well as documenting quality issues per processes and presenting data in a statistical format.

Requirements

• Documenting quality issues per processes and presenting data in a statistical format.
• Ability to follow directions along with strong attention to detail is extremely important.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel (write reports in Word, create and use spreadsheets in Excel for analysis).
• Must be able to read and interpret Engineering Blueprints as every aspect of inspecting product relies on the blueprints to ensure accuracy.
• Basic math skills necessary to include fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Possess mechanical ability/aptitude.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with assembly inspection process.
• Engineering Technician experience very helpful.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, documentation and data collection of parts and assemblies.
• Use data to create reports to use for training and/or process improvement strategies.
• Discussing issues with engineers, vendors and updating SOP's as needed.
• Could be working in multiple areas such as electrical, mechanical, and weld inspection.
