Requirements

Strong computer skills and ability to ANALYZE DATA.
Skilled with EXCEL to include V LOOK UPS and PIVOT TABLES.
Knowledge of AIAG core tools, Fishbone, APQP, Root Cause Analysis etc.
Experience with process KITTING and SUB-ASSEMBLY.
A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
Previous experience in a quality technician or related role.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and documentation.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities.
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in quality, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.

Nice To Haves

Automotive, manufacturing and/or third-party logistics experience is preferred or other Warehousing/Distribution experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain quality-assurance processes, testing products, and recording and analyzing results data during product development and manufacturing.
Ensuring adherence to product quality standards.
Create Work Instructions to “validate” operations.
Perform Layered Audits and complete audits in reference to CLI quality standards.
Partner with the business to drive corrective action and five phase reporting.
Performs containment processes in the event of quality defects.
Perform visual inspections to include using a camera to document load shifts.
Removing products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality.
Must have knowledge of commodity locations, material flow and window times.
