Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and ability to ANALYZE DATA.
  • Skilled with EXCEL to include V LOOK UPS and PIVOT TABLES.
  • Knowledge of AIAG core tools, Fishbone, APQP, Root Cause Analysis etc.
  • Experience with process KITTING and SUB-ASSEMBLY.
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
  • Previous experience in a quality technician or related role.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities.
  • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in quality, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive, manufacturing and/or third-party logistics experience is preferred or other Warehousing/Distribution experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality-assurance processes, testing products, and recording and analyzing results data during product development and manufacturing.
  • Ensuring adherence to product quality standards.
  • Create Work Instructions to “validate” operations.
  • Perform Layered Audits and complete audits in reference to CLI quality standards.
  • Partner with the business to drive corrective action and five phase reporting.
  • Performs containment processes in the event of quality defects.
  • Perform visual inspections to include using a camera to document load shifts.
  • Removing products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality.
  • Must have knowledge of commodity locations, material flow and window times.
