About The Position

AriensCo is seeking a Quality Technician in Brillion, Wisconsin. This hands-on role helps ensure products and manufacturing processes meet design specifications, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. The technician performs inspections, audits, testing, and measurements; identifies nonconforming materials; and supports corrective actions and continuous improvement. The role works closely with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams to improve process capability, reduce risk, and maintain product quality. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, four 10-hour days, from 4:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pay starts at $22 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Requirements

Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measurement tools, including selecting appropriate methods and performing basic conversions and calculations.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand GD&T basics, including critical, major, and minor characteristics and Cpk.
Experience with root cause and corrective action tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, CAPA, and 8D.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, preferably Excel, and QMS systems.
Ability to detect defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support root cause analysis.
Understanding of traceability and calibration requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Perform process audits, product inspections, testing, and dimensional measurements.
Identify, document, contain, and process nonconforming material according to procedure.
Support production-floor troubleshooting and help resolve quality-related issues affecting safety, quality, delivery, or productivity.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions, including 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone methods.
Collect, analyze, and report quality data to support decisions and continuous improvement.
Perform inspections using gauges, measuring tools, prints, CAD models, and test methods.
Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, and traceability requirements.
Support process control and risk-reduction activities, including SPC and audits.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.
