About The Position

Neapco is seeking a results-driven Quality Technician for its Driveline facility in Belleville, Michigan. The position reports to the Plant Quality Manager and supports product quality, safety, inspection, and quality-control activities. The successful team member is expected to align with Neapco’s Core Values of Partnership, Passion, Agility, Teamwork, Integrity, and Diversity, as well as its Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility goals and objectives. Compensation depends on qualifications.

Requirements

Experience as an inspection or quality technician.
Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
High level of visual awareness.
Advanced organizational skills.
Experience drafting reports and collating data.
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain company inspection reports.
Inspect goods and products according to quality and safety standards.
Ensure goods and products comply with company standards and applicable federal and state laws.
Ensure test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
Report quality anomalies to the supervisor.
Collate test data and draft quality reports.
Identify possible areas for improvement in quality-control processes.
Ensure production is not hindered by quality-testing procedures.
