About The Position

Seeking a versatile Quality Technician to join our 2nd shift in the Aerospace division. The successful candidate will excel in both quality assurance and quality control aspects. This role involves inspecting materials, components, finished products, and work-in-process to ensure conformance with customer requirements, internal quality plans, and government specifications. Specific duties may vary by area supported.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Proficient in Microsoft products and manufacturing software
  • Quality Experience in metals/manufacturing industry
  • digital calipers, micrometers, Wizard quality plans experience
  • product audits and raw material inspect
  • reading blue prints and drawings
  • US person (as defined by EAR & ITAR requirements)

Nice To Haves

  • Five or more years’ experience in Quality
  • experience in Aerospace Quality Planning, FMEA, Control Plans, Inspects sheets
  • Aerospace experience

Responsibilities

  • Inspect material, receive components, finished products, and work-in-process to insure conformance with customer requirements, internal quality plans, and government specifications.
  • Assist with process capability measurements.
  • Participate on problem-solving teams.
  • Have a working knowledge of quality records systems.
  • Perform basic first piece/article inspections.
  • Participate in CI Team.
  • Perform calibrations of simple mechanical or electrical controlled gages and equipment.
  • Recognize quality defects and advise operator on containment policy.
