About The Position

Precinmac is a leading supplier of mission-critical, precision machined components used in the aerospace and defense, semiconductor, and automation equipment sectors. We specialize in manufacturing uniquely designed high tolerance precision machined components and assemblies, with a focus on continuous improvement, on-time delivery, and the highest possible quality and consistency. We are looking for a Quality Technician who has a drive for excellence. This is an on-site second shift position Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM.

Requirements

• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Understanding of Aerospace Quality Systems (AS9100).
• Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, PPAP
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with ERP or Quality Management System (QMS) software.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills for collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Quality Management or a technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, visual, and functional checks on components using CMM, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Read and apply blueprints, GD&T, material specs, and engineering drawings.
• Generate inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), First Article Inspections (FAI), and maintain quality logs.
• Calibrate inspection tools and perform basic maintenance.
• Manage SPC, run capability studies (Gauge R&R), and analyze data.
• Identify issues, support root cause analysis (FMEA), and help implement corrective actions (CAPA).
• Ensure adherence to AS9100, FAA, and company quality policies.
• Work with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
