Requirements

Associate degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, or production support
Experience performing inspections and supporting floor-level troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Hands-on experience with measurement and inspection tools
Knowledge of quality fundamentals (nonconformances, corrective actions, continuous improvement)
Strong attention to detail and organization
Effective communication and a collaborative mindset
Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow

Nice To Haves

Background in metal fabrication or welding environments strongly preferred
Experience in stainless steel fabrication, machining, or welding
Familiarity with sanitary manufacturing or ASME BPE standards

Responsibilities

Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections to confirm products meet engineering drawings and specifications
Work directly on the production floor to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues in real time
Support timely resolution of nonconformances to keep operations moving efficiently
Utilize precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and profilometers
Accurately document inspection data, quality issues, and corrective actions
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Help maintain inspection standards, documentation, and acceptance criteria
Support quality audits, calibration tracking, and record-keeping
Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to improve processes and resolve issues
Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and industry standards
Support material traceability and product compliance documentation (including MTRs)
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
