About The Position

The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting routine tests and inspections on products and assisting the Quality Assurance Manager with data collection. This role also involves assisting with customer and supplier claims, as well as supporting ISO compliance, audits, and training. The Quality Technician will participate in special projects as needed and collaborate with other departments to ensure a quality product.

Requirements

• Associates degree or commensurate experience in a related field required
• Knowledge of basic computer applications, notably Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Knowledge of steel industry and various products
• Knowledge of computerized document control
• Ability to problem solve and organize
• Knowledge of gage calibration systems and gage calibrationst
• Ability to work 2nd shift, 3:00 - 11:00pm, M-F
