About The Position

This role is responsible for understanding quality concepts in a manufacturing environment. The technician will perform hands-on inspections using various tools, document findings, and control non-conforming products. The position requires adherence to company policies, including those related to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Quality.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Three years of verifiable work experience, preferred in manufacturing environment
Ability to accurately use scales, OD tape, ruler, thread height gauge
Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations
Trained into API Q1 and ISO 9001
Basic math skills

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Understand quality concepts in a manufacturing environment
Perform inspections using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and similar equipment
Inspect, reject or accept product according to visual standard, weight, tally and other Q.C. requirements
Document and recordkeeping
Control the removal of monogram from non-conforming product
Wear appropriate PPE
Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
