About The Position

This position is for a 2nd shift Quality Technician located in Lawrenceville, PA. The role involves performing testing in a safe and timely manner to support manufacturing, primarily within the Metal Lab. The individual must be capable of working unsupervised and effectively communicating with other departments. Requirements

High School Diploma required
Basic computer knowledge required
Good Communication and Teamwork skills required

Nice To Haves

Foundry experience preferred
Knowledge of measuring equipment preferred

Responsibilities

Understand and abide by all Company safety rules, regulations, and policies.
Ensure that safe and sanitary working conditions are maintained in the facility in accordance with Company standards, as well as state & federal laws and regulations.
Know and understand your OSHA rights.
Conduct safety training topics as required or needed.
Responsible for attending all assigned safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.
As required, promptly investigate accidents and near misses, completing appropriate reports and taking action to eliminate root causes.
Perform testing in Safe and Timely manner to support manufacturing.
Work unsupervised and communicate with other departments.
Calibrate and Trouble shoot test equipment.
Chemistry evaluations using Metal Spectrometers and CS Meters.
Retrieve and Test Sand.
Microstructure Evaluations.
Brinell Hardness Testing.
Mechanical Property Testing.
Use of Hand Measuring Tools.
Perform basic calibrations of measuring devices (Calipers, Mics, etc.).
Basic computer skills generating and sending test results/reports.
Other duties as assigned.
