About The Position

We are looking for a talented Quality Technician to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Clovis, NM. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Support production and inspection activities by working closely with Engineers to ensure products meet defined quality and performance standards. Monitor material quality within processing operations, identifying issues and supporting necessary adjustments to maintain consistent output. Maintain accurate documentation and records that support traceability, compliance, and effective quality reporting. Identify defects by comparing physical characteristics of components, materials, and equipment against technical specifications. Conduct basic functional, reliability, and packaging tests, recording results and preparing clear, straightforward technical reports. Perform product and component testing using a variety of measurement and inspection equipment to validate conformance. Assist internal and external customers in understanding product specifications and interpreting measurement data for proper application. Ensure measurement accuracy by supporting calibration, maintenance of test equipment, and participating in measurement uncertainty studies.

Requirements

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
