About The Position

Avery Dennison is looking for a Quality Assurance Lab Technician to be the guardian of our product integrity. You will spend your day in a fast-paced lab environment, bridging the gap between raw production and final quality.

Requirements

Previous experience in a lab environment (R&D or QA) is required.
Strong experience with precise measuring tools and a comfort level with repetitive, high-accuracy tasks.
Intermediate Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
High school diploma/GED (Required).
A "Team Before Self" attitude and a curiosity to learn complex technical processes.

Nice To Haves

A 4-year degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
Experience with pressure-sensitive products or manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Perform FTR testing to determine cyclone levels in products, alongside product age and warranty retesting.
Pick up production samples, prepare them for rigorous analysis, and meticulously log results.
Use Excel proficiency to enter data into QIS and MFGPro, ensuring every batch meets ISO 9001 standards.
Manage the shipping of samples to 3rd party labs and keep internal lab supplies stocked and organized.
Assist the production floor in real-time when quality issues arise, using technical knowledge to find solutions.
