About The Position

We are looking for a talented Quality Technician - Level II to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, you will make an impact by supporting engineers in production-related and inspection jobs, monitoring material quality, maintaining accurate documentation, identifying defects, conducting simple tests, using and programming measurement equipment, assisting customers, and ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.

Requirements

• Experience in production-related and inspection jobs.
• Ability to monitor material quality and make adjustments.
• Skills in maintaining accurate documentation and records.
• Capability to identify defects by comparing components to specifications.
• Experience in conducting simple tests and preparing technical reports.
• Proficiency in using and programming measurement equipment.
• Ability to assist customers with product specifications and data.
• Knowledge of measurement and test equipment maintenance and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineers by assisting in production-related and inspection jobs.
• Monitor material quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure final products meet required specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for tracking progress, ensuring compliance, and facilitating audits.
• Identify and address defects by comparing physical characteristics of components and products to technical specifications.
• Conduct simple tests and prepare technical reports.
• Use and program measurement equipment for precise and reliable product testing.
• Assist customers in understanding product specifications and measurement data.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of measurement and test equipment.
