About The Position

PPG's Aerospace Business is looking for an overnight Aerospace Quality Technician - Labeling to join our team in Mojave! As a Quality Technician you will analyze and evaluate the accuracy of labeling on the finished, recertified, and re-labeled goods. This is an onsite position working at our facility in Mojave, CA and reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. This role will start out working our overnight shift Monday - Friday, 9:00pm - 5:30am.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience with Microsoft Applications.
Willingness to work overtime and some weekends required.
Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Laserfiche Program preferred.
Experience using QADEE or similar ERP system preferred.

Responsibilities

Work under direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Perform analysis using various computer programs including QADEE, Microsoft Office Applications, and Laserfiche to evaluate the quality and accuracy of labeling on finished, recertified and re-labeled goods.
Ensure compliance with established worldwide shipping standards and requested specifications.
Conduct and validate quality audits.
Compile, interpret, and process documents using data from Test Reports, Sales Order Acknowledgements, and Packing Work Orders to either confirm accuracy and compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations.
Work with multiple departments to complete daily work and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
Work on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
