This role will be responsible for managing the MRB cage at our off-site 3PL Guaynabo location, overseeing the control, segregation, and disposition of nonconforming materials. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Performs analyses, inspection, and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and/or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property. Performs a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples, and to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance. Performs required inspections, checks, analysis and documentation of studies. Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports. Reviews production records for conformance to procedures. Conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged or tested product.

Requirements

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).
  • Requires minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

  • Knowledge in SAP QM Module configuration and functionality
  • Knowledge in Trackwise Systems
  • Proficiency in Minitab and Statistical data analysis
  • Knowledge of Agile and FactoryWorks systems.
  • Knowledge of SQM/Space Portal.
  • Knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requirements and processes.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with NCMR (Nonconforming Material Report) and MRB (Material Review Board) processes.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and quality metrics tracking.
  • Experience with material transfers and component qualification processes.
  • Experience with SQM/Space Portal configuration and administration.
  • Experience with SCAPA and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process capability studies (Cp/Cpk).
  • Experience working with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong documentation, technical writing, and report-generation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, charts, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
