US Rod in Nappanee, Indiana is seeking a Quality Technician Inspector.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Possess basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
Able to follow instructions.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in an API Q1/ISO 9001:2015 environment.

Responsibilities

Perform material and product tests using quality lab test equipment and formal testing methods.
Perform in-process audits and internal audits to verify standard operating procedures are being followed.
Maintain quality records and samples per written procedures.
Work with production supervisors within a team environment in meeting customer quality requirements and solve quality issues.
Communicate effectively with all manufacturing personnel, next shift personnel and others in a professional manner.
Assist Quality Manager as directed.
Prepare records, reports and enter data to provide documentation and to support Quality department.
