About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support manufacturing operations by performing inspections, analyzing quality data, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. This position plays a key role in identifying product defects, supporting root cause analysis, and maintaining calibration and quality documentation systems.

Requirements

  • Previous Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience required
  • Minimum one year experience as a Quality Technician or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions, quality documents, engineering drawings, and bills of materials
  • Experience using basic and advanced measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testers, CMM, etc.)
  • Ability to identify and verify correct tooling used in production
  • Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues to ensure proper setup
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows-based systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Knowledge of PPE and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment
  • Detail-oriented and well organized
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with limited supervision
  • Maintain a professional company image with internal and external customers

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily Quality Department tasks within a manufacturing environment
  • Conduct inspections on products at all stages of the manufacturing process and document findings
  • Measure first production runs and provide data to support product development
  • Perform First Article Inspections
  • Expedite inspection of received materials as needed
  • Report the number of parts that pass/fail inspection
  • Organize and format inspection data to identify trends and quality concerns
  • Provide feedback to supervisors and leadership regarding inspection results and customer complaints
  • Determine when additional corrective actions are needed and implement follow-up steps
  • Work with Operations to perform root cause analysis and help prevent recurring defects
  • Understand and apply internal calibration requirements and use calibration software
  • Coordinate external calibration activities with tool owners and calibration laboratories
  • Assist with: Reading and interpreting engineering prints and specifications Product identification and traceability activities Understanding housekeeping, quality, safety, and work rules Proper use of advanced measuring equipment
