About The Position

Creates and maintains procedural and production documentation and administrative activities to maximize the use of human resources in the facility.

Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft office software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of quality concepts including variation, process control and root cause analysis.
  • Cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors.
  • Manage multiple priorities and generate results in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and creativity to think and react quickly to meet changing work demands.
  • Accountability for performing to a calculated work standard and/or performance expectations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean manufacturing training and/or experience preferred.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in a business, engineering or scientific course of study preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing strong written communication skills, creates and maintains all Oatey procedural and production documentation while supporting and documenting changes to customer products as needed.
  • Utilizes problem-solving skills to assist and support the Quality Department in identifying and implementing short and long term corrective actions.
  • Researches problems as assigned and assists in developing solutions.
  • Facilitate, assist with implementation, record keeping in compliance with ISO standards.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in lab, office and storage areas.
  • Maintain and keep organized all QA files and documentation for easy reference and ISO9001 documentation compliance.
  • Provides support to the Operations Teams by generating reports and executing assigned data input and data collecting functions as required.
  • Provide assigned administrative tasks and back up support to include functions and activities such as; Engineering Change Notice activities, filing, and data entry.
  • Other duties as assigned.
