About The Position

Maintains quality assurance processes, tests product samples, analyzes/records results data and reports issues that deviate from allowable standards/tolerances. This role involves utilizing various quality control methods and equipment to ensure products meet established standards. The technician will perform audits, conduct tests, train operators, and assist in problem-solving to maintain high-quality output.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to use Outlook and Excel on Tablet PC.
1 year of manufacturing experience in Windows Manufacturing.
Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, micrometers.
Knowledge about measurement and test equipment.
Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

Maintains quality assurance processes.
Tests product samples.
Analyzes and records results data.
Reports issues that deviate from allowable standards/tolerances.
Performs CTQ Audits using Safety Culture on Tablet PC.
Performs CFA Audits using Safety Culture on Tablet PC.
Trains Operators to comply with No Defect Forward (NDF).
Conducts Frame Weld Strength Testing, as required.
Performs all quality testing as required by AAMA specifications.
Performs functional and fabrication checks as required by standard practice.
Reports issues deviating from allowable tolerances.
Generates NCR using Tablet PC.
Uses Tablet PC to perform quality audits and generate Non-Conforming Reports (NCR).
Researches and compiles data using Safety Culture and Excel, as requested.
Utilizes band saw to cut pieces as needed for impact testing and weld strength testing.
Performs 100% EOLI on vinyl lines, rotating to a different line every 2 weeks.
Performs Dunk Tank / Water Wall Tests.
Assists Leadership determine root cause of issues using QPS 5 Whys quick problem-solving process.
Maintains cleanliness, sweeps area as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
