Maintains quality assurance processes, tests product samples, analyzes/records results data and reports issues that deviate from allowable standards/tolerances. This role involves utilizing various quality control methodologies and tools such as Dunk Tank, Water Wall, CTQ, CFA, NDF, QC Flag Process, NCR, QPS, 5S, and Kaizen Continuous Improvement. The technician will perform audits using SafetyCulture on a Tablet PC, train operators on No Defect Forward (NDF) procedures, and conduct various tests including Frame Weld Strength Testing and other quality testing as required by AAMA specifications. The position also includes functional and fabrication checks, reporting deviations, generating Non-Conforming Reports (NCR), researching and compiling data using SafetyCulture and Excel, and utilizing a band saw for testing preparation. The role also assists leadership in root cause analysis using the QPS 5 Whys process and maintaining a clean work area.
