About The Position
The Tullahoma Plant has an immediate opening for one Quality Technician I role. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the details below. Delegation of responsibilities is determined by the Quality Manager.
Requirements
- Must be able to read millimeters and inches
- Possess good math skills
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required
- Must be able to work in a team environment or independently
Nice To Haves
- Experience in IATF and Quality Inspections in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong MS Office and Minitab skills
Responsibilities
- PPAP and requalification documentation (MSA, Capability, Dimensional Reports, etc.)
- Internal Auditing (PDCA, LPA, Product Audits, Daily Audits, Dock Audits)
- Maintenance of Minitab files and reports
- Maintenance of Document Control System
- Conducting Quality Onboarding Training
- Maintenance of Training Matrix
- Maintenance of Calibration System
- Sorting of Product
- Conducting Receiving Inspections
- Conducting GP-12 Sorting
- Provide guidance and support to team of Quality Inspectors
- Other tasks as assigned by Quality Manager
