About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Quality Technician I. This role is crucial in maintaining and improving the Quality Assurance (QA) System, ensuring compliance with regulations, customer requirements, and company policies. The Quality Technician I will be responsible for daily QA activities, providing leadership and training to the QA team, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) months of Quality Assurance experience in a regulated warehouse, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to interpret and follow procedures and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and customer requirements.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a quality, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or other regulated environment.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems.
  • Associate degree or equivalent in a related field of study.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on the implementation, compliance, and effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) through audits, observations, quality metrics review, and customer feedback.
  • Facilitate QA training for new and existing associates.
  • Review documents and instructions prepared by the work group for accuracy and legibility.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Operations Performance, and Process Improvement teams to advance quality initiatives.
  • Incorporate QA, Operations Performance, and Process Improvement methodologies in task performance.
  • Recommend appropriate methods to support site operations' quality assurance compliance requirements.
  • Lead and support the coordination of QA license, permit, and registration activities, providing direction for compliance with FDA, DEA, ATF, State, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform daily quality assurance activities as required or directed by management.
  • Lead and facilitate the development of QMS documentation.
  • Assign work schedules for the QA team, direct the team, train associates in required QA processes, and monitor associate compliance and progress.
