About The Position
The Lawrence Production Center in Lawrence, Kansas is a fast-paced, 3-shift manufacturing environment that produces Hallmark's greeting cards and other specialty products. We bring Hallmark's creative concepts to life by making the products that help people live more caring, connected lives full of meaningful moments! The production center's priorities include delivering outstanding product quality & service, while simultaneously reducing cycle times and our total cost of product. We drive business performance through a focus on operational excellence, employee engagement, and Lean improvement focus across our teams. We are especially looking for candidates who bring or have interest in building Power Apps / process automation capabilities, are energized by improving how we leverage data to drive performance and decision-making, have demonstrated success driving process improvements through data or analytics, and provide insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making across the plant.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong background in data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency (or strong interest in working) with tools such as Excel and data visualization/reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with quality systems or operational data environments
- Deep understanding of secondary processes, palettes and process constraints.
- Strong knowledge of card materials and components.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Owns advanced quality systems and analytics
- Leads Quality Notifications (QNs) ownership
- Leads dashboards and reporting (e.g., Power BI)
- Leads system governance and data quality
