Requirements

Ability to perform basic weld destructs and inspections.
Punctual and regular attendance is required.
Able and willing to work any shift assigned.
Keeps work areas clean and orderly.

Responsibilities

Evaluates production set-ups to ensure that quality requirements are met.
Assists and trains production floor personnel in the use of statistical techniques.
Assists and trains production floor personnel in the use of gauges and fixtures.
Evaluates floor associate’s documentation for compliance and reports findings.
Conducts audits of corrective actions.
Conducts LPA audits as assigned.
Conducts gauge and fixture studies as required.
Assist with basic gauge and fixture repair as well as calibration.
Provides support in solving production floor issues.
Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
Ability to perform basic weld destructs and inspections.
Travels to customers and suppliers as necessary.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).
