About The Position

This role is responsible for inspecting products and processes to ensure quality standards are met. The Quality Tech will perform various inspections, read blueprints, identify quality issues, and assist with quality documentation. The position also involves preparing parts for shipment and working collaboratively with production and engineering teams to enhance quality and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or quality experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as calipers.
• Experience using manufacturing equipment including plasma cutters, belt sanders, and similar tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Forklift certification required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice To Haves

• Weld certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products and processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform weld inspections, certifications, etches, and macro analysis.
• Read blueprints and verify parts are built to specifications.
• Identify and communicate welding or production quality issues.
• Assist with quality audits, document control, work instructions, and defect tracking.
• Inspect shipping racks for damage and coordinate repairs.
• Prepare parts for packaging, labeling, and shipment.
• Complete shipping documentation and support shipping operations.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve quality and manufacturing processes.
