About The Position

Assist in operating the manufacturing line while ensuring high quality, efficiency, and safety. The Quality Tech conducts routine inspections of production assemblies and sub-assemblies, follows written procedures and visual aids, and records inspection results in the computerized MES system. The role works under close supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant Jabil production position or equivalent external work experience.
• QC certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing.
• A degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and repetitive inspections to ensure quality at various stages of production.
• Inspect in-process and finished assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
• Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, and operating procedures to determine whether products should be accepted or rejected.
• Follow standardized written directions and visual aids for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.
• Visually inspect products using magnifying glasses, lot sampling methods, first article checks, and/or AOI machines.
• Enter standardized information into the computerized MES system to indicate whether boards pass or fail.
• Follow applicable safety and health rules and regulations.
• Comply with procedures within the company security policy.
