About The Position

A Quality Technician is instrumental in ensuring that the customer receives a consistent, quality product in a timely manner. The primary responsibility of a Quality Technician is to prepare and execute the testing of samples taken from the NCF production process. The samples may be for determining mechanical properties, inclusions, or microstructural analysis. The Quality Technician will also become an internal ISO/IATF 16949 auditor and have the opportunity to take on other various projects as time allows. Hours will be based on business conditions. If business conditions or customer demands increase/decrease, hours will be adjusted accordingly. Weekend and holiday work will be scheduled as needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
