About The Position

Requirements

Hands-on experience with CMM operation or programming.
Understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
Proficiency with advanced measurement tools.
Demonstrated proficiency in quality control processes within a manufacturing environment.
A track record of accurate, reliable, accountable work.
US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the US Department of State (ITAR Requirement).

Nice To Haves

Experience with additive manufacturing quality.
Experience with SPC.
Experience with CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS or Calypso.
Expertise in SPC, FMEA, NCR/CAR/PAR management, and quality management system frameworks (AS9100, ISO 9001) at more senior levels.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-process and final inspections using CMMs, optical comparators, surface plate tools, micrometers, and calipers.
Read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T callouts.
Document findings accurately and flag non-conformances.
Develop, prove out, and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent software.
Write quality plans and NCRs (depending on experience level).
Drive corrective and preventive actions (depending on experience level).
Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Project Engineering (depending on experience level).
Shape quality systems and metrology strategy (depending on experience level).
Design quality into processes rather than just inspecting at the end.
