About The Position

The Quality Team Lead is responsible for coordinating quality-related activities and supporting daily material processing operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with customer and company requirements. This role provides leadership and direction to team members while promoting a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The Quality Team Lead serves as a key resource within the operation by monitoring material flow, ensuring adherence to standard work procedures, supporting inventory accuracy, and maintaining compliance with quality standards throughout the assigned area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in quality, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics operations preferred
• Leadership or team lead experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Basic computer skills and experience with data entry preferred
• Ability to identify and communicate process deviations and quality concerns
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members in the execution of daily quality and material processing activities
• Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of materials within the assigned operational area
• Promote and enforce compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures
• Monitor quality standards and ensure products and processes meet customer requirements
• Train, coach, and support associates on standard work instructions and operational procedures
• Identify, document, and report quality concerns, material discrepancies, damages, or process deviations
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities to prevent recurring issues
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, filing systems, and operational reports
• Ensure compliance with 5S standards and maintain an organized work environment
• Encourage employee participation in continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives
• Support inventory audits and year-end inventory activities as required
• Coordinate material flow activities to support production schedules and operational requirements
• Follow emergency response procedures and support workplace safety initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs
