About The Position

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Systems Supervisor to support our food safety and quality initiatives. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with BRCGS standards, supporting third-party audits, overseeing the sanitation department, and partnering with Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure the highest quality and food safety standards are met. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong food manufacturing quality background who enjoys working cross-functionally and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

2+ years of quality assurance or quality systems experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of BRCGS, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
Previous experience preparing for or participating in third-party audits.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with maintaining BRCGS certification and annual audit requirements.
Ensure the facility remains audit-ready for all third-party inspections.
Maintain food safety documentation and quality records.
Partner with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Monitor product quality, including appearance, size, texture, taste, packaging, and overall consistency.
Supervise the Quality Systems Technician(s) and Sanitation Department.
Order sanitation chemicals and supplies.
Investigate quality concerns and assist with corrective actions.
Promote a strong food safety and quality culture throughout the facility.
