About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for a Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in China Lake, CA. This role supports the Kuwait F-18 Flight Test Program by managing and sustaining aircraft logbooks, maintenance publications, and related documentation. The specialist will ensure all required logs are current and accessible, prepare reports and correspondence, and support aircraft maintenance and operations activities. The ideal candidate has experience in aircraft maintenance documentation, is self-motivated, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Level Quality Systems Specialists.

Requirements

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
1+ years of experience with flight line operations
1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
Experience documenting corrective actions and non-conformance
Experience with Configuration management

Nice To Haves

3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience Maintenance planning operations
Experience with release of aircraft for flight

Responsibilities

Assists in review of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to prepare quality assurance plans and tests for hardware and software products, processes and services
Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures
Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems
Provides ideas and concepts for corrective action development
Supports quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements
Assists with hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements
Documents audit results in standard formats
Compiles data and provides recommendations for material review disposition
Works under general supervision
