Experienced Quality Systems Specialist
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team in Tukwila, WA. This role involves developing quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. The specialist will also develop Quality criteria to support supplier oversight activities, provide interpretation of complex requirements, and lead various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into supplier product designs and verification methods. Additionally, the role includes analyzing non-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions, developing and implementing corrective actions, and performing benchmarking and other advanced analyses to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with statistical data analysis and presenting the results
- Experience supporting reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements
- Experience working in a quality job role
- Experience in Supplier Quality processes
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 1+ year of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA)
- 1+ year of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specification
