About The Position

Direct, lead and supervise the development of a total quality environment with an emphasis on unexcelled customer satisfaction and continual quality improvement. Accomplish quality related objects through the use of quality meetings, planning, training, statistics and internal/external audits. Ensure that processes and products are in compliance with current implemented Quality Management System requirements. Oversees the site quality systems’ deployment and effectiveness. Drives continuous improvement by developing and implementing systems to optimize all aspects of the business. Supervises Quality personnel in a manner that positively influences the team’s ability to achieve its objectives and support the business’ success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering
  • 3-5 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of quality management systems applicable to the business

  • Previous related supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet all Quality Control objectives, projects, and deadlines within budget.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work of quality control employees.
  • Teach, coach and demonstrate work activities for team members.
  • Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of product and process quality.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits of quality-related policies and processes.
  • Work within the organization to educate employees in the quality management system.
  • Prepare and present reports, as assigned.
  • Hire qualified personnel and ensure they receive all necessary training.
  • Responsible for conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions of employees.
  • Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
  • Lead and participate in process improvement projects.
  • Identify areas for improvement, i.e. process, training, development, etc.
  • Work with team to develop New Product Introduction Process [NPI].
  • Develop new manufacturing processes.
  • Identify, improve, deliver innovative solutions for existing processes.
  • Ensure that we are meeting our corporate and customer goals.
