About The Position

The Quality System Execution Lead leads engineers responsible for quality systems projects that improve manufacturing measurement capability, product quality, launch readiness, and operational performance across Body and General Assembly operations. The role translates approved strategies and project objectives into execution plans, guides technical teams through design and deployment, and provides day-to-day leadership for project delivery. It requires people leadership, technical judgment, supplier and plant coordination, and the ability to deliver results in complex, cross-functional manufacturing environments. The position partners with Global Quality Center leadership to execute the quality systems roadmap, develop team capability, manage project priorities, and ensure solutions are delivered safely, on schedule, within approved resources, and ready for sustained plant operation. The selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least three times a week, or at another frequency set by their manager, and travel less than 25% as project and launch needs require. Relocation benefits are not available; relocation costs are the selected candidate’s responsibility. GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
