About The Position

This role involves leading the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) process of the site quality management system and reporting results to the quality section manager. The Quality Supervisor will support various elements of the site’s quality system, including internal documentation, change management control (such as quality policies amendments and registration of internal and external documentation), internal audits, effective PDCA cycles, CAPA system management, and management review. Additionally, responsibilities include coordinating the eQCMS bi-annual review, managing consumer complaints from inception to resolution, and acting as a primary contact for food regulatory agency inspections and contacts management. Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a laboratory
  • Working efficiently on a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet customer/business requirements
  • Attending to detail and following written instructions
  • Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Project management and working on multiple activities at the same time
  • Proficiency in MS office applications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the site’s Quality Deviation Program
  • Be responsible for the Hold and Release Program
  • Escalate/communicate with corporate quality as needed
  • Interact daily with Operations regarding product quality
  • Actively participate in Root Cause Analysis
  • Actively participate in IL6S/Lean Manufacturing
  • Conduct Gemba floor walks to improve quality culture
  • Deliver Quality specific training topics
  • Perform administration activities for iQS (Electronic Quality Control System)
  • Support during internal and external audits
  • Lead the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) process of the site quality management system
  • Report PDCA results to the quality section manager
  • Support elements of the site’s quality system, including internal documentation and change management control including quality policies amendments and registration of internal and external documentation
  • Support internal audits
  • Support effective PDCA cycles and CAPA system management
  • Support management review
  • Coordinate the eQCMS bi-annual review
  • Handle consumer complaints from start to finish
  • Serve as a key contact for food regulatory agency inspection and contacts management
