About The Position

Flex is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Supervisor in Manchester, Connecticut. This role supports extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to growth. The supervisor will oversee and coordinate activities related to the Quality Assurance Inspection function on the manufacturing floor, including the quarantine and disposition of nonconforming goods, while ensuring policies and processes are followed. The shift for this position is 3rd shift, from 7:00 PM to 03:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

3 years of Quality Control & Assurance or in a related field.
3 years of Supervisory experience in the electronics industry or a related area.
3 years in the Manufacturing Industry.

Responsibilities

Assign employees to maximize quality control goals.
Ensure that directed shift staffing levels are maintained.
Hire, guide, and train inspectors for the shift.
Interface with HR and finance for employee issues.
Research data and implement corrective actions.
Review quality reports.
Perform process and sub-factory audits.
Ensure procedures are followed and may develop procedures for the quality assurance inspection operation.
Provide immediate supervision and guidance to inspectors, checking work at frequent intervals.
Interact with outside customers, vendors, and functional peer groups at various management levels, serving as a liaison between customer and the division regarding quality issues.
Direct daily shift activities.
Confer with management and production to define and uphold quality goals.
Train shift guidance to inspectors in quality processes.
Support engineering and other functions in correcting employee errors.
