About The Position

Flex is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Supervisor in Manchester, Connecticut. This role reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities related to the Quality Assurance Inspection function on the manufacturing floor. The supervisor will manage the quarantine and disposition of nonconforming goods, ensuring adherence to policies and processes. The shift for this position is the 3rd shift, from 7:00 PM to 03:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

3 years of Quality Control & Assurance or in a related field.
3 years of Supervisory experience in the electronics industry or related area.
3 years in the Manufacturing Industry.

Responsibilities

Assign employees to maximize quality control goals.
Ensure directed shift staffing levels are maintained.
Hire guides and inspectors for the shift.
Interface with HR and finance for employee issues.
Research data and implement corrective actions.
Review quality reports.
Perform process and sub-factory audits.
Ensure procedures are followed and may develop procedures for the quality assurance inspection operation.
Provide immediate supervision and guidance to inspectors, checking work at frequent intervals.
Serve as a liaison between customer and the division regarding quality issues.
Direct daily shift activities.
Confer with management and production to define and uphold quality goals.
Train shift guidance to inspectors in quality processes.
Support engineering and other functionalities in correcting employee errors.
