About The Position

Crane Aerospace and Electronics is hiring a Quality Specialist for its Burbank, California location. The role identifies workmanship or process-damage problems and ensures the quality of produced assemblies through physical and visual inspection against specifications, drawings, or standards. The specialist determines acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements for assembled units and supplier components; verifies manufacturing build and test processes are complete; communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization; and enters data into software tools. Other tasks may be assigned by a supervisor or management. The position works in a manufacturing environment and may involve required personal protective equipment, exposure to noise, cold, confined spaces, dust, or fumes, and handling parts under electrostatic-discharge procedures. Work is approximately 90% seated and 10% standing, with lifting and pushing up to 40 pounds. The role uses a computer and a workbench-top workspace. The posting lists minimum qualifications for Quality Specialist II and III. The hourly pay range is $29.83–$37.25 for Specialist II and $34.85–$42.54 for Specialist III. Actual salary depends on factors including relevant experience, skills, training, and other qualifications; some roles may be eligible for performance-based bonuses. The position may require access to controlled data or information, in which case only U.S. persons will be considered. Crane is a U.S. Department of Defense contractor subject to ITAR. Candidates must complete a satisfactory background check; FAA-sensitive positions require participation in a random drug-test pool.
