Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering or a similar field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a Quality Specialist role or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and ability to interpret quality standards and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of ISO quality management systems.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a strong ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Adept at data analysis and interpretation of quality metrics.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Office Suite and quality management software.
  • Experience in conducting audits and inspections.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while ensuring high quality of work.
  • Willingness to continue education and training to keep up-to-date with the latest quality standards and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) credentials would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to evaluate quality performance.
  • Document quality assurance activities, identifying any areas needing improvements.
  • Review and analyse quality performance metrics and generate reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the exchange of ideas and ensure that quality standards are understood and met.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
  • Assess customer requirements and ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to quality issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Undertake training and development activities to maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in addressing quality-related issues.
  • Assist in the management of product recalls, if necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and other applicable quality-related standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier quality performance.
  • Participate in product development projects to ensure design control activities are in compliance with quality standards.
