About The Position

At Advanced Illumination, we produce a wide range of LED quality vision systems that are use throughout other industrial and manufacturing facilities to ensure the highest standards of quality products. Ensure that products are fit for purpose, are consistent, and meet both external and internal quality standards and requirements. We're seeking an individual with a desire to grow a career with our expanding operations in Rochester, Vermont. You will serve as the technical expert responsible for inspecting and testing materials and products, support product audits, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and customer specifications. The tasks include performing dimensional and functional inspections, leading root cause analysis, and facilitating workflow from production to shipping. The individual will play a critical role in maintaining the product quality while documenting findings, managing quality data, and interfacing directly with customers on technical quality matters. The future of this role is dynamic and requires an individual who sees their potential for growth within the company with responsibilities increasing in Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs.

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of electrical theory
  • Ability to read and interpret advanced schematic and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with ISO 9001 in a production environment
  • Flexibility to manage several tasks at once
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Technical writing ability
  • Analytical, structured and independent working style
  • Strong sense of responsibility, diligence and assertiveness
  • Ability to motivate teams using strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Proficient MS Office skills- Word, Excel
