About The Position

This role involves supervising the QA Sampling Department, Label Cage, and Retains Cage. The supervisor will coordinate sample delivery to the QC lab, investigate root causes of material issues, and hold materials that do not meet specifications. The position also focuses on promoting a positive team environment, training others, ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing the release of raw materials, components, and labels, and maintaining good documentation practices. Additionally, the role includes assisting in the management of aging inventory and enforcing continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience using MS Windows and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in English to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.
• Must be able to demonstrate high levels of reasoning.
• Must be able to work without direct supervision.

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 Years leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA Sampling Department, Label Cage, and Retains Cage.

• Responsible to oversee release of raw materials, components and labels.
• Proper use and care of equipment and materials issued to work area.
• Enforce and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain proper good documentation practices within the department.
• Assist in the management of aging inventory.
