About The Position

Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Quality Representative to join our Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) project in Honolulu, HI. As a Quality Representative at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to the Quality Manager, you will have the responsibility for quality control inspections and testing for your assigned discipline; Concrete, piling, rebar, structural, earthwork, electrical, etc. Inspect to contract specifications the assigned discipline. Develop understanding/working knowledge of company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, etc. required to perform assigned work. Perform inspections and witness tests applicable to discipline to determine acceptability of work. Assist in maintaining work performance records, inspection records and other related items; assure correctness of all documents. Assist in preparation/implementation of quality control procedures, i.e., inspection instructions, control measuring and test equipment, etc. Assist in coordinating quality control inspection schedules with other department schedules. Participate in internal/external quality control audits. Assist in reviewing purchase documents to ensure compliance with quality control requirements. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certification
  • 5 or more years of experience in support of design-build or heavy civil construction testing, inspection, supervision or management in support of large public works projects
  • 5 or more years of quality control, inspection experience one or more of the project disciplines, to include Concrete, piling, rebar, structural, earthwork, electrical, etc.
  • Strong understanding and experience with contract specifications as they apply to quality control and/or assurance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • ACI or other industry related certifications
