About The Position

This position performs receiving inspection activities on incoming materials, components, and products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. The role is responsible for verifying conformance to all specified requirements through visual, dimensional, and functional inspections. Duties include inspecting incoming materials and components, reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, documenting inspection results, identifying and segregating non-conforming material, and communicating quality concerns to appropriate departments. The position must assess product evaluation against established quality standards and procedures. Responsibilities include reviewing receiving documentation, verifying material certifications, ensuring product quality, working with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to use basic hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, wire strippers, torque tools, and crimping tools.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, tape measures, thread gauges, and other inspection equipment.
Ability to use multi-meters.
Ability to use computer systems for data entry, inspection documentation, and quality record maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
