The Quality Project Manager’s role is to assure high quality products and services that satisfy both internal and external requirements including meeting and exceeding customer expectations in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves coordinating and executing goals and objectives throughout the company to improve product quality and operating system efficiency, directing and coordinating the activities of Quality Department employees, and establishing and maintaining sound relationships with production, technology, supply chain, quality teams and cross functional personnel to identify system and compliance gaps with proposed resolutions. The position also acts as a liaison with metrology, QC and compliance teams, ensures adherence to project and company standards, and manages claims, non-conformities, investigations, problem solving, root cause analysis, and the creation of effective and sustainable corrective actions. Additionally, the role manages process and equipment validations, owns the change control process, defines and implements quality initiatives to meet KPIs and objectives, identifies opportunities for improvement through data trending and analysis, and engages in the risk assessment process. The Quality Project Manager reviews and approves technical protocols, reports, and specifications, participates and leads CAPA activities, and is responsible for the coordination and evaluation of the Quality department, including supervising staff in line with company policies and laws.
