About The Position

Boeing is currently looking for a Quality Production Specialist to join their team in JRB New Orleans, LA. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. This position is not contingent upon program award.

Requirements

3+ years experience with Aircraft inspection (FA18 preferred)
Microsoft Office proficiency
Capable of traveling on an as needed basis (up to 10%)
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

3+ years’ experience with Boeing quality assurance programs such as FOD and Tool Control

Responsibilities

Provides oversight of Quality directives, policies, processes and procedures.
Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems.
Performs audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements.
Documents audit results in standard formats.
Other tasks as assigned.
Works under general supervision.
Performs Quality over-sight of maintenance activities.
