About The Position
Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Services, is looking for an Experienced Quality Production Specialist (FAI) to join our team in Enfield, CT. This role involves leading and training employees on various quality processes, dispositioning non-conforming products, and performing First Article Inspections.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of related quality experience
- 4+ years of experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection
- 4+ years of experience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator
- Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102
- 4+ years’ experience reading and interpret blueprints
- Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
- This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam.
- To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities
- Lead and train employees on the First Article Inspection, Lab Controlled at Source, Outbound/Inbound Inspection, and Non-Conformance processes.
- Disposition and control of non-conforming products.
- Review and approval of First Articles from suppliers.
- Perform First Articles for submission to customers.
