About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Specialist to support our business in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves reviewing proposals, contracts, regulatory, program, and customer requirements to ensure early quality involvement in program development. The specialist will prepare and maintain Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to ensure deployment of program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements. Analysis of process data, metrics, models, and flows will be conducted to identify root causes of problems, and participation with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation is expected. The role includes conducting research, compiling and analyzing performance reports and process control statistics for continuous process capability improvement. Additionally, the specialist will conduct quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, developing a coordinated response for management review and approval. Hardware, software, and system-level audits will be conducted to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory, and customer requirements, with results reported to management. Data analysis will be performed to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment. The role operates under general direction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Experience Aircraft maintenance or modification experience
  • 5+ years of Experience with Quality Systems
  • Ability to travel up to 1 year assignments
  • Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 3 years P-8A experience with U.S. Navy maintenance programs
  • Organizational level maintenance experience

Responsibilities
