Quality Production Specialist
About The Position
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring an Experienced Quality Production Specialist (Level 3) to join our 737 SQ Investigations team in Renton, WA on 1st Shift. This role involves reviewing and validating product non-conformances, analyzing product quality, performing capture and control of non-conformances, overseeing tool usage, tracking disclosed parts, training employees, developing and documenting problem resolution actions, obtaining corrective actions, negotiating commitments for preventive and corrective actions, prioritizing quality activities, ensuring problem resolution, reviewing corrective action plans, developing software system processes, implementing corrective actions on audit results, interpreting industry standards, and creating analytical reports.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ Years of experience in Production Quality, Line QA, or QAI
- 3+ years of experience with systematic problem-solving skills
- 1+ years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB)
Responsibilities
- Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements
- Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations
- Performs capture and control of internal and external supplier disclosed non-conformances
- Performs Significate out of Tolerance Tool oversite to ensure investigations are processed per requirements
- Perform detailed tracking for each part disclosed by internal and external supplier
- Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System
- Independently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution
- Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes
- Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution
- Reviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies effectivity to ensure completion
- Develops software system processes to support changing industry standards
- Reviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements
- Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation
- Creates analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution
