About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supplier Quality is hiring an Experienced Quality Production Specialist (Level 3) to join our EVT Component Test Labs CPR Investigations team in Everett, WA on 1st Shift. This role involves reviewing and validating product non-conformances, quality procedures, and engineering requirements. The specialist will perform analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations, and processes against Quality Management System requirements, company procedures, contract requirements, or government regulations. Key responsibilities include capturing and controlling internal and external supplier disclosed non-conformances, overseeing Significant Out of Tolerance Tool processes, and performing detailed tracking for each part disclosed. The role also involves training and mentoring fellow employees, developing and documenting actions for problem resolution and corrective/preventive actions, and obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes. The specialist will negotiate concurrence, obtain commitments for preventive and corrective actions, prioritize quality activities, and ensure problem resolution. Additionally, they will review and validate corrective action plans, develop software system processes, and interpret industry standards to provide recommendations. The role requires creating analytical reports and coordinating with responsible parties for distribution. The position works under general direction.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements
Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations
Performs capture and control of internal and external supplier disclosed non-conformances
Performs Significate out of Tolerance Tool oversite to ensure investigations are processed per requirements
Perform detailed tracking for each part disclosed by internal and external supplier
Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System
Independently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution
Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes
Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution
Reviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies effectivity to ensure completion
Develops software system processes to support changing industry standards
Reviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements
Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation
Creates analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution
