About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) to support our Propulsion South Carolina (PSC) team based in North Charleston, South Carolina on a variable shift. The selected candidate will be responsible for, but are not limited to, performing tasks in the areas including pre-shift planning, crew meetings, production control, process improvement and Lean/BPS. First Pass Quality is a top priority when work is reviewed for completion. You are expected to complete assigned tasks and essential functions of the job.

Requirements

1+ years experience in manufacturing operations, quality, or other related field
Experience with using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers and dial indicators, etc.
1+ years of experience in conducting Compliance, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Tool Control and/or Audit assessment.
Willing to work 1st or 2nd shift on a rotational basis, as needed

Nice To Haves

Proficient in all forms of NCR and EPD generation (NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR/PU and RGEN Revision etc)
Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

Responsibilities

Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
Provides objective evidence of results.
Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
Identifies and documents discrepancies.
Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
